In good time for the coming winter season, we have posted the Morzine lift pass prices for 2008 / 2009 as well as a collection of commonly asked questions about the morzine lift passes.

The entire Portes du Soleil ski area is open from Saturday 20th December 2008 to Sunday 26th April 2009.

There have been a few increases since last year but nothing too outrageous. In fact, Pleney and Les Gets area prices hardly increased at all, except for seasonaire lift passes which shot up by nearly 20%, notably for the kids and the seniors.

Full area passes for the entire Portes du Soleil ski area went up 13 euros to 200 euros for a six day adult pass. A very competitive price considering this gives you 650km of beautiful pistes as well as a staggering amount of off piste action. For a rundown of the resorts included in the Morzine lift pass, take a look at the lists of resorts in the Portes du Soleil. Here is a brief overview:

Portes du Soleil Statistics

204 lifts – 107 draglifts, 83 chairlifts, 10 gondolas/bubble cars and 4 cable cars.

278 marked ski runs/pistes of which there are 34 green, 112 blue, 104 red and 28 black.

9 snowparks, 3 half pipes and 4 boardercross trails.

1 border frontier, 100 hamlets/villages and over 12,500 inhabitants.

694 snow cannons.

1050 ski lift company employees with over 170 ski piste patrollers.

400 km2 and 50 summits.
