Hi Iain,

NYE is one of the best weeks of the year as the resort is always full of skiers and snowboarders keen to get their first snow fix of the season. All the local bars will be doing something for NYE and some charge for entrance. Cavern or Dixie will always be good. The Garage is no longer unfortunately.

Avoriaz opened today and is now open for the season. It's been snowing lightly all day today and the weather has taken a colder turn so hopefully more snow on the way.

Hi,

I'm heading over to Morzine for NYE this year and was wondering if there was anything going on to celebrate?

The snow seems to have been pretty light so far, does Morzine get a good dump this time of year? What can I expect?

Cheers,

Iain.
