Super Morzine

Super Morzine

Super Morzine

The Super Morzine lift leaves directly from the center of Morzine village and quickly takes you up in the direction of, wait for it, Super Morzine ! It also serves as access to Avoriaz (albeit a little slowly).  Similar to the Pleney lift but more recently built, the Super Morzine lift is made up of many small bubble cars carrying up to 6 people each.

The Super Morzine lift is one of the easiest ways to head over to Avoriaz if you happen to be staying near the center of Morzine village.  Immediately from the top of the Super Morzine bubble car, the Zore chairlift takes you to the top of the pistes named Zore and Tetras - two great blues to warm you up at the start of your day.  Zore and Tetras are also two great runs to play on a powder day if you don’t have enough time to head over to Avoriaz; head off to the sides of the pistes or into the trees.

Access to Avoriaz and Beyond

For access to Avoriaz via Super Morzine, you first take the Super Morzine lift, followed by the Zore chairlift.  You then descend an almost flat piste (Seraussaix) that serves no other purpose other than to take you to the next chairlift named Proclou.  From the top of the Proclou chairlift, you have the entire Avoriaz domain at your feet as well as access to 11 of the other ski resorts that make up the fantastic Portes du Soleil.
